Putting mental skills coaching in every athlete's pocket for Optimize Mind Performance

The problem

Athletes experience tremendous pressure throughout their careers, and building mental skills doesn’t always fit around a busy training schedule. Optimize Mind Performance (OMP) wanted an on-the-go mental skills tool — something an athlete can access with ease at any time of day, check in on how they’re feeling, and find resources aligned to their goals.

Our approach

Shakewell was tasked with producing the OMP app and dashboard, from designs to development. Onboarding captures each athlete’s sport interests and desired areas of mental performance improvement, so the home screen presents relevant content from the very first open. The dashboard gives organisations — schools, universities, sporting groups and teams — permission-based control over content, users and statistics, packaged into three tailored tiers.

The outcome

Athletes can listen to audio content created by mental skills coaches from across the globe, matched to their sport and goals, while organisations create content and track engagement through the connected dashboard.
